While working on the marketing team for the department of Housing at the University of Central Florida, Samantha was in charge of the creation, execution, and publication of different videos that were geared toward students and their families to help them with Fall 2022 Move-In Information, UCF Move-In Pool-ooza 2022, UCF Housing Move-Out Information, and Best of UCF Housing.

Zero To Hero

While attending Samford University, Samantha had the opportunity to be one of the directors of Independent Ladies during Step Sing, creating and choreographing a group of 80 ladies on stage. The theme, Mario, presented a problem of using copyrighted images and so this animated background video was created to make it look like the group was inside of a video game during the performance. You can view the video of what it looked like on stage here. This type of full animated video was a first for Step Sing. The Samford Crimson newspaper interviewed Samantha because the students were talking about the video so much.

Call Me

Samantha was honored to be able to create a Step Sing background video for the 2023 Independent Ladies group.

Birmingham

Samantha's first animation project was a short lyric video. The song is by an artist who came here for college and it talks about the city of Birmingham, Alabama. The illustrations were also inspired by the city.
